Very annoyingly I opened paypoal years ago and mostly use it to pay for ebay things and to receive payments every now and again, so not been logging into the main paypal site a lot. Suddenly today I could not log in anymore without getting a text to confirm identity. I do not have access to this phone anymore. I didn't even realise or remember I had a phone number linked to this account. I can't even log into customer support so I created a new account just to access this. I've been told the only thing I could do is create a new account. But I can't use my previous email so everything I linked to my old account won't work. They said I can close the old account using a FAX! SERIOUSLY A FAX! no explanation how I get my funds in that account back again either. Been waiting hours for logged in customer support.
