Issue with account closing

Hello, 
I opened my paypal account in India, and now i have moved to USA, 

And as i have opened the account in India i am not able to add my USA contact number or my USA details in my account,

If i close my account will i be able to open a new account with the same email ID ( from which i opened the account in India) ?

You are really supposed to close the account before you leave your old country, you 'may' have issues trying to do so now and if so you may need to contact customer services for help.

But yes in theory you should be able to re-use that email address but some folks have posted that they couldn't.
