Inability to add an email address. Please help

Hello there,

My primary email is no longer active and I would like to change it ASAP.

I am attempting to add a secondary email address to paypal. Once added, I would like to make this new email my primary email.

When adding the secondary email, I receive the following error (see attached).

Please help. Thank you.

I understand you are having trouble to add email address, please contact PayPal customer service.  To find your contact options, please click Contact at the bottom of the PayPal website.
