Impossible to reach customer service

I've tried the message center multiple times.  I've tried Twitter @AskPayPal.  I would die for the opportunity to wait on hold rather than being ignored for now nearly 4 hours.  As a small business owner, I'm disgusted at the inability to reach someone.

Tell me about it 7 hours now, and they closed the help conversation I had open waiting for a reply

Me too!  I got some lame excuse that they could see that I had been helped and closed it.  What in the world is going on there?!
