Identity verification not accepting sms code

I have talked with PayPal SEVERAL times and my major issue still isn't resolved. Every time I talk to them they say there is no issue. Really about ready to close this account and just stick with Google pay. Costumer service IS HORRIBLE. THANKS PAYPAL

Two years later, still the same. SMS received, six-digit code typed --> submitted --> see the submitting animation --> nothing happens.
