I need to update my number to enable 2 step verification.

Hey, I've not used my account for a while and I'm trying to log in. It's asking to send a code to a mobile number but the number on my account is no longer in use but I cannot update it because every time I try to go on my profile it asks to send a code to the old number! How am I meant to update it if I cannot log in?

Hi stuartozzy91. Welcome to the community forum and thanks for posting. As you are having trouble logging in to your account from your old phone number, it is best to call us. This way we can verify your account on the phone and help you log back into the account. If you go to the 'Help & Contact' icon on the PayPal website, you can click the 'Contact Us' link at the bottom of the page. Then, from here, if you click the 'Password and Account Access' option, and 'Login Problems', on the next page, you will see a 'Message Us’ or ‘Call Us’ option. I hope this helps. Sean
