My PayPal balance was placed on hold, and it requested me to provide identity verification to resolve the issue.
However, the business contact on the account had since changed. The instructions said to make sure the identity and name matches the one on my account. However, since the business contact had changed, I cannot provide our old business contact's documents.
As such, I needed to change the name/identity on my PayPal account. I submitted a request to do so, however, after review, I received a message saying that it was not possible to change the name on the account without any reasoning why.
I then contacted customer support and they said they will look into it. It has been 11 days and they have not responded. My PayPal account was placed on further restrictions earlier today.
What should I do to resolve the issue? I have a large sum of money in the account I would like to withdraw to my business' bank account.
You need to contact customer services to resolve any limitation OR account specific issues.
