I need help in linking my debit card to paypal

Hi everyone, does anyone know how I can resolve this problem. I’ve been trying to link my visa debit card to my paypal account in the past few days but it doesn’t go through. It always displays that the card has been declined and try another payment method. I also tried reaching out to my respective bank but they said there there’s no problem with my account and it’s just fine. Anyone who knows another way that I can try?
