I'm trying to recover an old account and Paypal wouldn't let me.

I'm trying to access my old paypal account in which the password doesn't work anymore, so I tried resetting it using my email since I didn't have access to the old phone number associated with the account itself. So I got my verification done through email, and now it asks me for one last verification through my OLD PHONE NUMBER, and the problem is that I can't change it to my current one, preventing me from getting my money back. I'm getting extremely restless, annoyed and overall frustrated and calling the people didn't even help me one bit. Does anybody know any other way to help me get my account back?

Thats the importance of keeping your contact information up to date on your paypal account.

All i can suggest is try contacting customer services again but if they can't help then not sure what you can do really.
