I can´t add my indentity card to PayPal

Hi guys,

I just wanted to add personal identity card to my PayPal Account but it doesn´t work. PayPal needs the image of my IC. When I scanned it and wanted to add, everytime there is a letter X across it (doesn´t matter, if it´s image by phone or scanned image by printer). So I can´t continue to the next step.

Where is the issue? Can you help me, please?
