How to close Italian Paypal to open a German Paypal

Hello,

As I have moved from Italy to Germany, I would like to change my Paypal account. Apparently the way to do it is to close the Italian Paypal account and open a new one in German Paypal.

When I try to close, it keeps saying: There is a problem.

I have waited for all my ebay orders and transactions to be done. Now I am waiting for the residual money to be transferred back to my bank account. Is there anything else I can do?

Also, if I close the Italian account, can I still have access to all the transaction lists?

Transfers have to be completed as well before account can be closed. You won't be able to access the account info again but you may contact customer service with the info you need as it would still be on file, in a written request as well as confirm your identity (ie photo ID and proof of address) that you own the account before you are given the information.
