How change the name on account

Hi, can anyone help me with my case, I have a paypal account for 6 years, I set it up on my short first name, the last name is real what I have in the documents and in the bank account. now paypal wants me to confirm my name, and I have documents in my full name, and I can't change that short name on full name , for years my bank account and my phone number is the same on paypal. now I have a problem, can someone Help me please???

You can change the name on your account (up to 2 characters) if it's misspelled, and only once after creating your PayPal account. It is not possible to change the name on your account to another person's name. If you are making a legal or major name change, you'll be required to upload some documentation as proof of name change. This review usually takes up to 5 business days. 

Here’s how to change your name:

1. Click the Settings icon next to "Log out."
2. Click Update below your name.
3. Select your type of name change.
4. Follow the instructions on the screen and click either Continue or Update Name.
