How can I delete my PayPal account?

How can I delete my PayPal account?

I created this PayPal account about 12 years ago with a fake name.

The problem is, I can not close the account or change the email without verifying my name.

But since it's a fake name (Nobody in all of Sweden has this name), it's impossible to verify myself.

I just don't want it tied to my email since I am getting mails over and over.

And now I can't even login to PayPal.com - it's saying it couldn't verify me and I need to call them.

And when I call PayPal, some robot guy with a hangover voice (or he just woke up) says "Nobody is available to help you" and then hangs up.

So can someone at PayPal just close my account?

Why does it have to be so hard?

I haven't used PayPal since 12 years ago. Never. Not even once.

Just delete it, for **bleep** sake.

If you opened a legal financial account with a fake name then you won't be able to close it as you won't be able to verify that it is you closing it.

The person that owns the account can close it and that is the person named on the account who has a legal document to prove its their name.

You can't so it can't be confirmed you own the account.
