Help with Primary Email

Hello, I’ve closed my old email address and opened a new one, I have added and confirmed it in my paypal account, but I need to make it my primary email address as any purchases I make from today onwards, I will not be able to retrieve, it won’t let me do this, I cannot contact PayPal via email as there is no subject listed for my problem and it takes me to self help which is no help, can anyone advise or help? I would appreciate it, I’m considering closing my account and opening a new one, this seems the only option, not being able to delet your old email and make your new one primary really isn’t a good feature, ty.

To update an email address, you must have at least two email addresses on file.

Login to your account.
* Click on the Gear icon.
* Click on the "+" in the Email box.
* Enter your new email address.
* Click "Add Email"

* You will need to confirm the new email - once you've done that, you can make it the Primary and delete the old email.
