Getting really irritated

I've been trying to link a new checking account to my paypal account but keep getting a message that says my phone number is not registered in my name. Oddly enough it accepted the phone number for something else I did on the site and they sent me a text so I see no reason why this shouldn't work. Tried calling the contact us number - all that got me was extremely irritated as I had to listen to endless advertisements and then when they were done it tol,d me the number had been changed. And guess what - the new number got me nothing but more ads. Grrrrr. So tried emailing Payay but no matter how many times I press the "send email" button nothing happens. Any help available to me?

have you considered contacting Customer Service via Facebook or Twitter?
