My friend just sent me money to my old paypal account that I have not used for a while, and it requires me to reset the password. I chose the option to send a email, but after entering the verification code, it tells me that it needs another authentication method through text message, but I do not have access to that number anymore. I've tried sending a message but halfway through the conversation I was told "messaging is not available", and when I called paypal the automated message system tells me that it cannot assist me at this time and hung up.
