I'm trying to get it to accept my ITIN and that won't work either. Spent an hour on the phone with support (joke) including a couple of specialists (one of whom sounded like she was on a school career day field trip). She finally gave up and said I could just enter my SSN. Duh! Doesn't work on Chrome, Firefox desktops and doesn't work on android paypal app. Pretty sad that no one has responded to the initial post here for over six months. PayPal is basically a bank. How do they get away with such crumby service?
