Email confirmation is failing

Steps to reproduce

1- I go ahead and add a new email to my account 

2- The verification email is sent to my new email inbox

3- I click on the verification link

4- I get redirected to Paypal verification page

5- To continue I type in my password 

6- I get the following error:  "Something went wrong on our end"

Any clues on how to fix this?
