My old email account, the one used when I created my PayPal account, is not longer active. I want to change my primary email to my active email account. However I can't figure out how to do this. I can add my new email account. I can even edit and delete that one. But I can't figure out how to switch it to be my primary email account. Does anyone know how to do this?
Go and click on the profile tab (icon next to log out) > click on the + and add another/new email address first > verify it > go back and click on update and tick the box underneath that says make primary > then you should get the remove option by the old now no longer primary email. You can remove that one or leave it on as you can have up to 8 email addresses on the one paypal account.

I've tried that already. I clicked on 'Verify' then went to my email inbox. During the confirmation process it asks for my password associated with that email. There isn't one and the password for my account does not work.
