Does verification texts show the IP and address of the person trying to sign in?

I understand that you wish to know if PayPal adds IP address and location when an account is being accessed from a different region. I'm afraid that PayPal includes neither of these details when accessing the account from a different location. If you have received one with this information, then it must be a fake text message.
During the instance of location changes, we may ask you to confirm your identity to ensure you’re the one authorizing activity in your PayPal account. We may also do this as a security precaution if we see new or unusual activity, such as logging in to your PayPal account from a new device.
