Delay in transferring money into my bank account

I transferred money from my Paypal account ot my bank account. Normally this is instantaneous. On this occasion I was told it would take about 2 hours. I then received an email telling me it would take 2 - 3 days, in effect the money would not be in my account until 17th April. If this is what's going to happen in the future, then there's no point in using Paypal.

Same has happened to me. I was told I would have my money back today, but they are still holding $600 of my money.
