Default Ship-to name change

Everytime I use PayPal to make a payment it enters in a name that is not mine. The address is correct so the package would still arrive but it’s an extra step. When I check my addresses it only shows one, the correct name and address yet shows the mysterious person when an actual sale is being processed. How do I fix this?

Sorry to hear you are experiencing issues with the address when an actual sale is being processed. Have you tried clearing your cash & cookies?

I’ll look into it but I doubt that’s it as this is on an iPhone and has been happening for a looooong time. After updates, cache clears, hard restarts, etc. Additionally I don’t know if the app has its own cache erase tool. But thanks for the attempt. Again, I’ll look into it.
