Confirmation attempt failed

I had a warning that there was suspicious activity on my account and to change my password and security questions which I have done. I also needed to confirm my identity but when I try and do this on clicking the button, all it keeps saying is 'confirmation attempt failed, try again if you're having problems with the confirmatin process'

 

I have tried numerous times and it does the same thing.....why?? Any way of getting round it without having to can and send some additional ID?? Unable to use my paypal for anything until this is sorted

You need to contact customer services to resolve any account specific issues.
Click help / contact bottom left of Paypal pages for options available for your country.

Or have you considered contacting Customer Service via Facebook or Twitter?
You can send them a personal message from their facebook or twitter pages.
