Confirm Identity emails

I have received 2 emails asking to confirm my identity. How do I know if this is legitimate? I have been using PayPal for over 10yrs and never received this before

it's simple 🙂

The procedure is simple, you transfer it (not copy / paste, but transfer to ...) to spoof@paypal.fr or spoof@paypal.com
within 24 hours the automatic PayPal server will confirm by email whether it is true or not.
