Close account

Hi, could you please help me. I want to close my old account because it was registered in Jordan so i can’t change my new mobile phone number. Literally now I’m in Malaysia. So I made a new paypal account but i can’t link my bank card. It said that my card have link to another paypal account but i have remove it before. So I decided to close my old account but it won’t. He keeps telling me this “New PSD2 Regulations change the way you log in with PayPal. If your mobile number isn't up to date access will be disrupted. Please check your Profile now.” What should I do?

Paypal is country specific so if you move countries you have to open another paypal account in the country you reside in and add an address / phone number / bank accounts / cards from within that country.

You should really withdraw any funds / resolve issues / remove cards and bank accounts / cancel any subscriptions and close the old Paypal account before you move countries. If you don't then you may have problems doing so once you have moved and may need to contact customer services for help to resolve things.
