Charged Twice

I purchased an item on Monday night (05/06). When I went to the Paypal Summary page, I can see the transaction were put on pending state.

At this stage, my Credit card was charged.

 

It seems it was waiting for the seller to set the status to completed.

This morning at 9:15am I received a manually sent email from the seller confirming my purchase. I checked my internet banking, and found that my Credit Card has been charged again at 9:18am, which I guess around the same time the seller set the transaction status as "completed".

 

I've ensured that there is only 1 transaction on my Paypal Summary page with that same amount

The invoice id has ".2" at the end, I'm not sure if it means anything.

 

Can anyone assist on how to proceed to resolve this issue?

Check with the seller and if he has received x2 payments then he can refund x1 of them for you.
