Changing my country setting from france to uk - system not letting me!

HI, I am hoping someone can help me solve a problem that is driving me crazy. I set up my paypal account when i lived in france and everything was fine. I moved back to the uk 4 years ago and havent really needed to use my paypal account until recently. However i cannot seem to find how to change my account settings to the uk? I have deleted old addresses (french ones) and tried to add a uk address but it wont accept the uk postcode as it says the postcode should be 5 characters (as in france)

I have removed all old cards and all links to france that i can see. Under nationality it states united kingdom and under language is states english - i simply cannot find anywhere that still relates to france but it wont allow me to move on. I'm sure there is probably a little link somewhere to click and it will reset quite simply but i just cant locate it - can anyone help please? thanks in advance!

Paypal is country specific so if you move countries you have to open another paypal account in the country you reside in and add an address / phone number / bank accounts / cards from within that country.

You are supposed to withdraw any funds / resolve issues / remove cards and bank accounts before you leave your old country. If you don't then you may have problems doing so once you have moved and may need to contact customer services for help to resolve things.
