Changing Name for privacy reasons

Is there a way to change my name without using legal name? Y'know I don't want people to know my real dad's name when I'm sending the link to people because I'm afraid people can do something unwanted attention (i.g doxxing) is there a way to hid your identity? I care about privacy.

You have to use your legal name on your legal financial paypal account.

If not you will hit issues when you have to verify or withdraw funds.
