I need help to either change my legal name or close my paypal account and register a new. i do not know how this occurred but the name on my paypal account is my mother's name but it is linked to my email address and my banking details and i need to resolve this as i do not want to have regulatory issues once i use the account to access funds. is there someone who give guidance on how to change this as the options on the platform requires a divorce decree or official name change confirmation. if it is not possible to change the name. how do i cancel the account so i can register with my name and email address?
