Canceling our Paypal Business Account?

We are in the process of cancelling our Paypal Business Account.  We do have a couple of questions:

*we pay a monthly fee.  Once the account is cancelled and we stop payment - will all info be lost?

*or, will we have limited access once the business account is cancelled?

 

Honest truth, we did everything possible to save our relationship with Paypal.  With over 10 calls in early 2018 begging for someone to listen - they never returned a call and never offered us anything in return.  Our business in 5 years had $2.5 mill in sales, no chargebacks (yes - none) and we paid the highest of rates (they would never negotiate).  Finally, they held our money for 1 month (with manually keyed transactions) for 5 years straight. 

 

Not sure is a better business is out there with less risk...but oh well.  To this day - not a single call back.  SMH...

 

We have since moved on cutting our rate in 1/2 and have no money held more than 24 hours.  Our business is now to $1.3 mill annually and with another store opening in 2019 we should add to that. 

 

Customer service is about the customer.  Listen to them.  Work with them.  They can be your best cheerleader.
