Can't reset password/ "We're sorry. Something seems to have gone wrong. Please try again."

Hello,
For the first time in a few years I decided to log in to my old paypal account.
Thing is I forgot the password. I tried to reset it but I keep getting an error "We're sorry. Something seems to have gone wrong. Please try again."
I tried mailing the support but they said that nothing can be done unless I text from "texted us from secured message center". Now here's the main problem. How can I text them when I can't log in to the said account? 
I tried using this account but it seems that password issues can be resolved only via phone and because of the virus it's unavailable.

Here are both mails I have recieved. How can I add an email when I can't access the account?
