Can't receive transfers from abroad. I have already linked by US bank with paypal.

PayPal declined to remit the funds (from friends) saying that this recipient (me) must receive funds either through the website or via special instructions. Why and what does this mean? Thanks

Can you confirm you are a resident of the U.S as you have a U.S Paypal account.
