Can't log in, can't reset password, can't reach Paypal customer service

I'm in Norway and there seems to be no way to contact Customer service on the website here. I've looked everywhere on the website and there's no way to actually get in touch with a person. Tried calling them on the phone in the US and it's just an automated voice saying "Sorry, we can't process your request on the phone right now". I found some contact info on the US-based website and was able to send them an email, but no response for 2 months now.

 

Problem is I have another account where if I try to login, I get the error message "We're sorry, we can't log you in. Contact Customer Service for more help, or try logging in again." The "Contact Customer service" link just sends me to some roundabout with no way to actually contact customer service. If I try resetting my password; I get the same exact error message once I type in the email of the account I want to reset the PW for.

 

How can I gain access to my account again? I need this account for business purposes but it's been blocked like this for at least half a year now.

 

This forum is the only place that's left for me to ask at this point as there's no way whatsoever to contact PayPal that I'm aware of.

I know the feeling, I live in the USA but am having the same trouble. Because of this stupid sickness in the world, nobodies working so we low people can't talk to anyone. it sucks. They need to hire new ones. Get the ball rolling. I need to find out if I owe Pay Pal any money? If I do and can't pay it, they'll say it was my fault for not sending the money. There goes the neiborhood, I'm the one that suffers. Sorry,,, I talk to much. Well, gotta go. Good luck with your problem.(186282_LS-1)

This happened to me as well. I FINALLY got a semi-helpful response from the support chat while using a different account set up under a different email address. Here's what they said: "I'll be forwarding this message to an account specialist who can help you with your concern. They'll review our previous conversation and get back to you. Please note, the reply may not be immediate. Don't worry, PayPal will send you a notification via email, App and within your PayPal account once they respond." Then: "The system is not allowing me to transfer you. We suggest to contact this number [Removed. Phone #s not permitted] for the collections department." I called the number & found it annoyingly convenient that, of course, I was IMMEDIATELY connected to a human since the underlying issue was just that PayPal wanted money. I was told that my account had been locked due to the negative balance on my account of $24.99. Despite how much as I wanted to tell them to **bleep** off & let the account ago, I went ahead & paid it & was told I should be able to regain access to the account once the payment clears. I guess we'll see. But, shame on PayPal's customer service for never even bothering to send me an email or ANYTHING explaining what had happened or why.

Unfortunately I can't see any option for Support Chat

 

I only see "solution centre" and I've checked & clicked everywhere in it, and there's no way to get in touch with anyone there. Just canned automatic responses.

 

When I go to the PayPal USA website im automatically redirected to the norwegian site which seems to have no options for customer service.

 

No idea how to solve this
