Balancing Affecting Transactions - listed just like any other?

when I pull up my normal account, all of the transactions are listed, and none are identified as "balance affecting".... it appears to me that any transaction, be it balance affecting or a transaction that I charged to my credit card thru pay pal, are listed in the same manner. This makes it almost impossible to determine if the account balance shown at the top of the page is accurate, or how it was obtained. Is there any way to narrow the transactions down or filter them to see only those that are balance affecting.... or is the only way to get that info is to request a special statement from them that I think designates if the transaction was balance affecting or not.
