Hi  i have been asked to verify my account of almost 11 years ... but it says i must either except a text on a mobile (that i do not own or need) as im housebound im next to my house phone ... the other is a phonecall that i can not recieve as i have sky talk shield that blocks unwanted calls (automated are under that listing)  .... i need the PHONE NUMBER that the automated machine will call from so i can add that to my excepted list ... but when i called the customer service number the lady tried the techs who said there isnt a dedicated number (i think it was lost in translation and they thought i was after the number the machine will give me ... all i want / need is the machines dedicated phone number ... please help

You need to have a mobile (not landline) phone issued in your country and registered in just your name verified on your Paypal account.
Paypal are using mobile phones for i.d requirements for logging in and withdrawal funds for extra security measures.

As mentioned .. i am housebound and do NOT need a mobile as i am next to the phone .. i have had my account for over a decade (all verified) they have tried to call my landline BUT because i have the call protection on it can not get through ... THUS why i wanted the phoneline number that the automated call uses so i can add it to my excepted list (DO NOT say it cant be done) as i have the same set up with my bank Lloyds and their one is added to my excepted list

Well you would NEED one to continue using paypal.

Trying reading the moderators post Rachael on this thread.
