Hi, This is my first post so I am uncertain if I am posting in the correct place. I recently reset my phone to factory settings due to some unusual behaviour. All reset I have downloaded the PayPal app from the Google Play store and rather than sending my mobile phone a code with which to verify using 2 factor authentication - a two step captcha graphic popped up and the mobile code was skipped completely. To add further strangeness I immediately logged into the website and to change my password only for the code never to be generated at all. I have managed to reset the password again using the forgot password function and secret questions (which is alarming again) Is this usual behaviour? The PayPal app using captcha exclusively to verify is a little suspicious when 2FA has been active in my account Could you advise?
