Adding bank account to paypal

Hi I cant seem to add my bank account to my paypal. Everytime I add it a message comes up saying there is a problem try again later, this is been happening for about a month now. Please help!

Are you adding a bank account paypal accept ie not a virtual one?

Is it a UK bank account being linked to a UK paypal account?

Have you used that bank account on previous paypal accounts?
