Add Another Email

My friend recently sent me some money on my alternate email address. This email does not yet have a PayPal account. Can I simply add this email to my existing account to recieve the money?

Normally yes, add it and verify it BUT unless things have changed recently as far as i am aware you can't receive payments in your country.
