Account set up & email address

Good day !! !!  When access my PayPal account last week I had to upload all new documents.

Last week I uploaded all my business information .....

Logging on today  .... I had to upload all my personal documents.

I'm confused... Is my Pay pal account both personal and business ?  Am I working out of one account ?

PS.  To be payed out be an affiliate, do I just give them the email address I sign into PayPal with ?
