Hello guys, my account got perma limited just yesterday, im awaiting for paypal answer but however i wanted to ask you, if anybody has dealt with that, is it possible to remove it and still use my paypal? Or if i could at least withdraw my money to my card, since ive got over 1200eur and im also awaiting 500gbp of a refund so i actually have no idea what's going from now on.
If you funded the original Paypal payment to the seller from your bank account or a card then once marked refunded/completed it will automatically go back to that bank account or card. Normally it can take a few days up to a week to go back to a bank account and a bit longer for a card, Paypal say allow 30 days for a card (1 billing cycle) but its rarely that long.
However if you have been told your Paypal account has been permanently limited then Paypal holds any funds for 180 days as that is the same time frame that buyers have to open paypal disputes.
If no disputes are opened against you in 180 days then 'normally' you are allowed to withdraw the funds as long as you are over 18, the account is in your legal name and registered in the country where you reside.
Paypal also may request further documentation from you before you can withdraw those funds.
Your best bet is to wait until the phones are back up and running and then phone customer services so that you can speak to an agent. Then they can help advise on how you can withdraw the funds if and when you are allowed to do so. OR ........
