I would like to change my account type from BUSINESS to PERSONAL! I created a business account by mistake and the payment received from my friend is on hold! Lemme know the further steps! Thanks in advance

Your friends payment would be on hold anyway even if you had a personal account as the option to receive gift/personal payments is not available in your country.

So payments would always show as goods/services whether you had a personal or business account as you can sell on either type of account.

 

However if you still want to downgrade then.........

 

 There is no automatic way to downgrade a business account to a personal account, you have to contact customer services and they will do that for you.

Click help / contact bottom left of Paypal pages for options available for your country.

Or have you considered contacting Customer Service via Facebook or Twitter?
You can send them a personal message from their facebook or twitter pages.
It's: https://www.facebook.com/PayPal and @AskPayPal for Twitter.
OR
You could just close your business account (removing all subscriptions / financial info etc first) and open a personal one.
