Account confirmation code

Hi i need to confirm my bank account and it says paypal have sent me a 4 digit code in the form of a 0.01 transaction with the code in the transaction description on my account, however when i press send code and check my account its never there, is there another way of getting this code?

yes i check my statement and my messages and documents, it says clearly the code is in the transaction description on my statement
