So I'm running out of patience trying to close my account. I have left UK I'm not able to confirm my address. I tried to do it by selecting right position in settings menu but no result: "You need to pay your statement balance before your account can be closed." Account status: 0.00 Please help 🙈

Paypal is country specific so if you move countries you have to open another paypal account in the country you reside in and add an address / phone number / bank accounts / cards from within that country.

You should really withdraw any funds / resolve issues / remove cards and bank accounts / cancel any subscriptions and close the old Paypal account before you move countries. If you don't then you may have problems doing so once you have moved and may need to contact customer services for help to resolve things.

Paypal phones are mostly non operational since covid but sometimes you get lucky.
If there is one available it will show when you click help / contact bottom left of Paypal pages for options available in your country.
Live chat is randomly available.
You can send them a message.
Or have you considered contacting Customer Service via Facebook or Twitter?
You can send them a personal message from their facebook or twitter pages.
It's: https://www.facebook.com/PayPal and @AskPayPal for Twitter.

Kudos / Solution appreciated.

Okay so I contacted customer service three time and so far nobody was able to help me.
1. "As you are in a different country, you will be unable to upload UK's proof of address and without this document, we will be unable to resolve the limitation in this account."
2.
"Proof of address for your current residential address " In second attempt was asked to upload document with could confirm my current address but document was rejected .
3. "I want to close it as well, Krzysztof. However we cannot close the account since we cannot lift the limitation."

So I have stuck with account I don't need and I wish to be closed but nobody can really help me. To open en accout i need to upload a document confimming my addres ,and I get  that, but why I can't close it in sitauation when Im not able to confirm my address ?  I not only unable to confirm my UK address  but now capabilities of my account are limited. It looks like a dead end , I can't use an account and I can't close it. I not British citizen and I'm living out of UK so after brexit my accout should be colosed. Meanwhile it looks like PP does ewerything to stop costommers from leaving and all what thay can offer is oppening of a new accout.
