I have somehow become heavily invested in the PayPal ecosystem, and I have both the card from synchrony and the line of credit from synchrony. Therefore, I'm pretty worried that as of 2020 PayPal still does not support U2F or FIDO for the website. TOTP is finally supported, but there isn't even a backup code option, so I can't disable sms 2FA because there's no redundancy. How is this still an issue? Is there any timeline on resolving it?
