62226 Suspicious Transaction Text - Not Letting Me Authorise Transaction

I am receiving a text from Paypal asking me to reply with 1 to authorise a recent transaction or 2 to say it is not authorised. I did make this transaction, but every time I try to authorise it by replying with 1, I receive a second text saying "Payment Not Completed. Invalid phone number. . ."

Any help in resolving this would be appreciated!

Oh! Just after posting this thread replying with 1 has worked and the transaction is authorised. Still I would be curious to know the cause of this little glitch for future reference.
