Hi, I recently received a payment for $37,500 US I refunded the client his money. I'm in Australia. rather than returning the customer's money paypal withdrew Aus $53215.21 from my check account, I now have a balance of $47793.88 in my PayPal account. So I've been charged $5421.33 to refund my client his money. I've initiated an action with the AFCA but is it possible for paypal to fix this? My account is in both US dollars and Aus dollars and it looks like I've been charged two conversion rates both with an extra point margin where no currency conversion is necessary. Also, I believe it's illegal in Australia not to have the option of reversing or canceling a transaction especially if it's done immediately?
