2-Factor Authentication Issues

I want to set up 2 factor authentication, however I'm only getting errors when I try to do so. I did clear my cache and close and restart my browser and I'm still getting the errors. When I press "Use an Authenticator App" I get a message popup saying "Sorry, something went wrong. Please try again." When I try to set it up with my phone number I get the same issue and I can't select country code, the drop down box brings up nothing and I get the error message when I try to submit my phone number. I just wanted to make it safer to use my Paypal to pay hope someone can help me with this.

hi. i have exactly same symptoms few months later. it's Sun, so paypal helpdesk enjoys time off.

any chance you had that resolved and could share how?
