virtual terminal: new transactions using data from previous transactions?

Supposedly I'm able to make new transactions on previous customers in virtual terminal without entering all their info again (and sometimes I didn't write it down if it was a phone order so I can't re-enter it if I wanted to). However, when I click to transaction details for a given purchase in the history tab, there is no option to create a new transaction from that data, though the user manual suggests otherwise. What gives?

I have spoken to customer service twice in the last 10 days about this issue.  It was a wonderful feature of Virtual Terminal and I relied on it as an important tool.   They said they had upgraded Virtual Terminal and they were having trouble with  getting the link to "Create a New Transaction"  put back in the history page of previous payments.   They insist that it will be restored any day now............any day now.........I hope.
