I have a website for a non-profit business through Google.  I have tried to follow directions to insert a "doonate now" button on our homepage.  I have tried it several ways with the same dysfunctional results.  Do Google websites accept gadgets and buttons from other cmpanies?  I had the same trouble getting a facebook button.  I tried pasting the code directly into the website using editor, then I tried pasting it into the code.  Neither worked.  How do I do this?!

Hello pfarneman,

Welcome to the Community Smiley Happy.

I know Google websites as well as Facebook can be tricky when it comes to pasting PayPal HTML code. Your best bet would be to contact Google directly to find out exactly how this can be done. Here is the link to the Google Help page.

Hello,

There are some issues specific to Google Sites when it comes to inserting PayPal buttons.

Since there were multiple queries on this, I have created a short blog post explaining how best to add PayPal buttons to Google Sites at https://www.x.com/developers/community/blogs/ppmtsrobertg/how-fix-your-paypal-button-google-sites-pa...

Quick tip: I'm not sure if you know already, but if you leave the 'amount' field blank, buyers will be able to enter their amount.

Note: If the blog post instructions do not work for some reason, I would suggest contacting Google Sites for additional assistance.
