auto-responder integration

I wish to collect a payment and automatically sign the customer up for an auto-responser sequence. I use ProFollow, a private label brand of Aweber.

Maybe use IPN?

which PayPal technology would be best?

Payflow? Express Checkout & Payments Pro?

I can set up a How To email sequence, now I need to collect up front.

any clues or ideas?
